Hellgate : London vs Guild Wars
Any Guild Wars players happen to play Hellgate : London as well?
Ever compared the both?
This article might be amusing for Guild Wars lovers who played Hellgate : London ?
http://digg.com/pc_games/Hellgate_London_vs_Guild_Wars
Note: Not really recommended for die-hard, hardcore loyal fanatics of Hellgate : London who despises Guild Wars.
Cheers!

When Guild Wars was first released in April 2005, up to 8 players per party in PvE. As for PvP, the “Tombs of the Primeval Kings” PvP Mode (Now known as “Heroes Ascent”) allows up to 6 teams of 8 in a single battle field! That’s a bloody 6 times 8 equal 48 players multiplayer mayhem in a single instance, and that’s 8 times the current max party size of Hellgate : London.

um, is this true?
I've started playing Guild Wars in March 2006. So it's after the great change to HA and the general PvP Mode. So idk.
But... but... why did they remove this awesome yet brainless bloodshed mode from the game? Now I'm sorry that I haven't tried this game a few months earlier.
Not even AB can beat this, if it is true what he wrote.
To stay on topic: Um.. yeah.. Guild Wars ftw!
EDIT: His article reminds me of "Bring Back The Rifts" (A PvP guild that I saw winning the HoH from time to time, back in the days where I was a noob. lol)

A ton of info in that article is false, or outdated. But all in all Guild Wars is still better.

I'm guessing you neglected to read a sentence.
He's comparing both games at the time of release.
So of course the info on GW is outdated.

No, I understood it all, let me give you an example: ''When Guild Wars was first released back in 26 April 2007'' That is what I mean, false info. Course that was a typo or such, but I'm nitpicky, that's why I said it.

Yes, it's true. Have you ever noticed that a lot of maps have more starting areas than teams? That's why.

Right, but for some reason I thought the game supported only 4 teams in the hall the whole time.
Well I guess it didn't bother me much until I read this article
Ok now I’m curious. I try to find out more about the reason why A.Net changed it.

In my humble opinion. It crashes at least once every time I play the game, Holiday Events are only for P2P and horrible gameplay. I can hardly figure out what the heck is happening as far as the story goes.

The article clearly mentioned:
''When Guild Wars was first released back in 26 April 2005''
and definitely not:
''When Guild Wars was first released back in 26 April 2007''
Do you need correction lenses?

He edited it and fixed it, I'm not stupid, that's what it said before. PS: I have perfect vision.
